Shafqat Ali Khan

Shafqat Ali Khan is descendent of a 500 year old musical lineage of the court musicians to the Mogul ruler Akbar the Great.

He is the son of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan of the internationally renown Ali Brothers.

The deep, soulful lyricism of elaborate ornamentation is a style of the musical tradition of the Sham Chaurasi Gharana.
